• Aww its look so cute. I think its design specially for us.

  • ingrid de vreeze

I want to start up a handywomen’s co. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Anyone interested???? Do you think this could work???

    • Oh, my goodness, Ingrid …

You’ve stumbled on an old post of mine. But I’m glad you stumbled! 🙂

I see no reason why you couldn’t start a group like this in Canada. It was really popular here in the U.S. for many years and then I’m sure budget cuts caused the program to disappear. That’s a shame.

      I say Go For It!!

Keep me posted as you do your research and planning, okay? Would love to know how it works out.

Thanks for the visit today — much appreciated.

      Melanie

  • Hey Terrie!

What do you mean “would have loved”?! Want to be a Pink Lady of online marketing? Say the word and … you’re in! I made this same offer to all of the ladies in the blogging challenge (I know it was hard to keep up with all the posts and #blog30 messages)and the list you see in this post are the gals that responded.

Just send me the link you want me to use and your tag line. That’s it. It’s that simple.

I’m working on a blog post that will include the killer interview you did with me. Should be ready for publication SOON. Thanks again for such a fun time on the phone and for your undying generosity. You’re the coolest!

    Hugs,
    Melanie

  • Great post Melanie. Pink is a great color. Your post reminds me of the red hat club (or something like that…LOL) I would have loved to be a pink lady helper 🙁
    Keep up the great work!

  • What?! Not include YOU in the Pink Ladies, Deb? NO WAY – you’re in!

And it’s nice to meet another gal who’s a DIY-er. I understand there’s a pretty small membership in our club. 🙂

Good luck with your renovations and I hope you’ll do a “power tools” post soon!

    Keep thinkin’ PINK!
    Melanie

  • Hi Melanie,

I LOVE this! I’m honored to be included and appreciate you very much.

Btw, I am also a do-it-yourselfer and love working with tools of all kinds. This house that I bought was basically a fixer upper… I’m slowly but surely bringing it out of the 1970’s (wallpaper in every room, shag carpeting, avocado appliances – ugh, you name it, it needed updating). It’s about half done, but it’s a big place (3300 sq ft). When it’s done, it just might be time to move on because I won’t like not having anything to do. Perfection is highly over rated! LOL

Oh…. and I’ve been searching for a pink toolbox and tools for years! Love that!

From one “Pink Lady” to another… you ROCK, Melanie! Great stuff.

Thanks for stopping by and I can see that you’re a “Martha” fan, too. 🙂 I met her during a 30-day blogging challenge and I was instantly magnetized toward her vivacious personality and I love the way she writes!

I just read your blog post about harvesting power from watermills. Personally, I think you’ve got your head screwed on straight. Keep up the good work!

Best of success to you and I hope you’ll visit again soon,
    Melanie

So true! Miz Mahtha so rocks! Beautiful thinking, Melanie!

  • Martha ~

This circle just wouldn’t be complete without you! “Pink” is definitely your color. 🙂

  • AWWWWW…this is the coolest article I’ve seen in a long time. What imagination! And what an honor to be on your list of “Pink Power Ladies.” Keep up the good work! I applaud you.
I’m just “ticked pink” to be among this fantastic group.

BTW…where do you get your graphics? I’ve got to purchase a graphics package and I’ve always like yours. Someone has recommended IClipart.com, but I’m not so sure. What do you think?

    Hugs,
    Jeanne
    .-= Jeane Kolenda´s last blog ..Who ME?? – You’re kidding, right? =-.

    • I’m glad you’re “tickled pink”, Jeanne – that’s cool!

Thanks for mentioning the graphics on my blog – nobody ever does! If you’d like to go ahead and purchase a graphics package, ClipArt.com would be my recommendation (I’m not familiar with iClipArt). But I’m a big fan of “FREE” so a lot of the graphics I use come from my FAVORITE place: morgueFile.com I know it has a strange name, but check it out and I think you’ll like what you see! Otherwise, I just go to my search bar and type in “free google images” and I always find lots of wonderful photos and clip art there.

Hugs and hugs back at ya,
      Melanie
