• Hi Melanie,

I couldn’t help but come over and say hi after all of those comments that you left on my site, so howdy! 🙂 Thanks for interacting on my blog, and I look forward to catching up. I’m also going to have a guest post on ProBlogger this Monday. I’ll be looking forward to interacting in the comments section. 🙂

Feel free to say hi and leave a longer comment through the contact form on my site. I’d be happy to know more about what you do.

    Good luck!

    Joseph

    • Hi Joseph,

I can’t believe you’ve landed on this ANCIENT post of mine! I hope it’s not another “browser” issue again. 🙁

From time to time, I get emails from readers who tell me they aren’t accessing my most recent posts. Will you do me a super quick favor, Joseph, and please click my feed URL and see if you’re seeing current posts?

      Thanks a heap! http://feeds.feedburner.com/melanie-kissell

I’ve got tons of old stuff here that needs to be updated. I just recently switched to the Genesis Framework and I’m still doing a lot of housekeeping.

Your blog is FANTABULOUS and I’ll be looking forward to your guest post on Problogger on Monday!

      Mel

  • I have so enjoyed riding the bus with you. There is something about your gentle way that resonates with me. Thank you

Be sides I love your graphics…They are so great! I am jealous.

    • Thank you, Sheila.

You have very keen instincts and insights. I have always been a nurturer by nature and an advocate for the underdogs and those that are shoved aside or discounted by others. I’ve been known to take the strays and the misfits under my wing and show them they are loved and lovable. We all deserve at least that much.

You and Jeanne Kolenda have both mentioned my graphics. I’m glad you like them! I choose images from four different sources — iclipart.com, morguefile.com, canstockphoto.com, and clipart.com

      See you in the blogosphere!

      Hugs,
      Melanie

  • Thank you Melanie for all your inspirational blogs & for adding comments. It was an amazing experience to learn so much from so many people. Hope to keep in touch 🙂

    • Hey Lauren — thanks!

I only wish I could have spent more time on your blog. It was WILD and CRAZY having 246 participants in the 30-day challenge!

I’m sure our paths will cross again. 🙂

Funny thing about these blogging challenges. Once you start connecting with a core group of bloggers, there’s a very special bond that’s formed. It’s almost like we all belong to the same wonderful and exclusive club. It’s great!

      Melanie

  • I had to jump off the bus early this time, but i enjoyed reading every post from the group! This was a fun experience.

    • Well, then, we’ll be looking to see you on the bus in the fall, Ronda! 🙂

Life strikes. Happens to everyone. And sometimes the timing of events like the 30-day challenge just doesn’t comfortably work out. And that’s okay!

The really good news … you’ll have another opportunity.

      Melanie

  • Same Melanie,
I stated with great intentions of meeting 5 new people a day- somehow i fell off the bus for that intention.

Yes I will be back in the fall- well my spring, nice to have met you and your blog

    • Believe it or not, Suzie …

Setting out to meet five new people a day during a blogging challenge is a mighty BIG goal. It takes a lot of time to carefully (and caring-ly) read people’s blog posts and leave thoughtful comments in addition to all of your other important daily activities.

Here’s what I’d like to suggest to you, if I may. For the next 30-day challenge, set out to meet three new people each week. Read and post comments at their blogs regularly and consistently — really get to know them! In taking this approach, you’ll make some wonderful new friends and you’ll be creating a CORE group of bloggers to stay in touch with after the challenge is over.

Keeping things “intimate” is much easier to handle and you’ll get so much more value from the experience.

I’m happy to have met you, too, Suzie, and I’ll see you on the tour bus again!
      Melanie

  • I’ve love the tour bus ride too… there has been so many wonderful folks aboard. Melanie, I’ve enjoyed getting to know you better. Let’s not let the end of #blog30 disconnect us. Let’s keep in touch.

    • You got it, Kathy!

In my heart I know that we will be knocking on one another’s doors again and again. Let’s let the blogging challenge cat out of the bag right now …

The end of Blog30 is just the BEGINNING. 🙂

      Hugs,
      Melanie

  • Without these blog challenges we wouldn’t have met. Thank you for your ongoing friendship and support.
Thank you for your wonderful posts too. You’re teaching me so much I didn’t even know, I didn’t know LOL especially about this wonderful world of internet marketing.
I really didn’t get as involved this time as I did last time. I was trying to build my blog at the same time as post and develop my products. It was such hard work, but worth every minute.
I hope we keep in touch and I’m sure I’ll see you on the next blog 30.
    Much love
    Heather x

    • Heather, you are a godsend to me!

I’m proud to know you, happy to know you, and extremely blessed to know you. 🙂

We’ll be keeping in touch … forever. I won’t have it any other way!
      Melanie
