• Melanie –

It is a funny thing that people tell you that you can be successful doing something you do not like as long as others want it… Hmmm… I think it depends on what the definition of SUCCESS is. I am sure I can earn a lot of money, but I would be miserable. Is that success? Or, if I take this thought to the extremes… If I rob a bank will I be successful? I don’t think so!

    Thanks for sharing!

    Be Well.

    • Never thought of it quite that way, Paul. Thanks so much for sharing your insights!

Not everyone will feel the same way about this issue and that’s perfectly all right. For some, “passion” isn’t important – only the “pennies”.

Glad you got 12 hours of sleep after that spectacular event you helped with – the photo on your blog was beautiful!

  • I so love working online that I can’t imagine it ever becoming a “chore.” Yes, there is discipline involved but I find it such an ever-changing business that I never get bored! If you go with your passion, the money will follow. It’s that simple 🙂

    • Whew! That’s 1 for passion. 🙂 Thanks, Martha.

And don’t get me wrong. As long as you’re excited about your business and energized by it, it will NEVER become a chore. I just believe, as you do, that you must work at something you’re passionate about.
