• Good for you, Yvonne – that’s the spirit! It makes me feel great to know that you’ve bookmarked this spot. I’ve gotten very positive feedback. People seem to like and appreciate “lists” of helpful information. As long as this list will help someone to make better use of Twitter, I’m tickled pink! 🙂

Thank you for taking time to visit my blog and good luck for the remainder of Connie’s crazy blogging challenge!

  • Thank you for the concise list, Melanie. Twitter is one of those ‘things’ that every time I think I have a fairly good grasp on it, it changes. Your list will be very helpful and I’ve bookmarked your page so I can refer to it regularly. Thanks again, Yvonne

  • “Tweeps and Twirps” — I like that, Gwen! You have personality and pizazz! 🙂

Bobbye ~ I’m with you on your hollow empty feeling. And I’ll admit I’m a bit envious of so many of the blogging challenge participants who have a much bigger window of time to spend online. I’m doing my best to keep up with everything but I work three part time jobs outside the home and some days I’m pooped! In a perfect world, I would love to read each and every person’s daily posts and comment on each one (not too realistic for me).

I’m feeling so honored right now that you’ve elected to include me in your sidebar “Tips from my colleagues”. Thank you, Bobbye!

  • Thanks Melanie – Twitter can get overwhelming with so many tweeps and twirps occuring simultaneously! I’m getting the hang of it I appreciate the list of what to tweet about!

  • Melanie,
It’s so valuable that I have included this piece in a new sidebar on my blog called Tips from my Colleagues. It’s a place I’ll insert cool info and resources I come across in our #blog30 challenge.
    Thanks!

  • Thanks Melanie! This is great reinforcement. I am certainly seeing the Twitter power in action during #blog30. The challenge, I think, both with the blogging and the Tweeting, is to avoid that hollow empty feeling like you are communicating into a void. That’s the particular power I have experienced over the past two weeks with Connie’s #blog30 challenge — there seems to be a real community of peeps actively interacting.
    Thanks again!

  • This is a terrific post because sometimes I have alot of difficulty figuring out what to tweet about. I have copied this list into my notepad and One Note so that I can continually refer to it.

You are funny and smart, Melanie!

    • Terrie ~

I’m so pleased you find this list of what to Tweet about beneficial to you. It has served me well!

  • Jeanne – thank goodness there’s one other night owl on this planet besides me! It’s 1:30 AM here and I think I’ll finally call it a “day”. Glad you liked that quote.

Talking about inspiring one another …

When I was in elementary school, we used to have a little saying that went, “I’m rubber. You’re glue. Whatever bounces off me sticks to you.” All of your wonderful stories and reflections on life and business are really sticking to me, Jeanne! Thank you. 🙂

  • Melanie, Thank you SO much for the encouragement and the support. I love writing when others love reading. You inspire me! I LOVE that quote: “Praise the bridge that carried you over.” I’ve never heard that. I’m going to remember that one. Keep ’em coming! I love quotes, too! I hope you have a wonderful, refreshing weekend. I’m off to bed (it’s 2:30 am) and I’m going to sleep late…
