  • Man I really love this! I should visit your site more often. I guess I’ll make it a habit to now that I ran across it.

  • Super cute! Is the date correct for the webinar with Michelle?

    • Hey Flora!

Glad you found some cuteness in my little poem. 😉

This is actually an older post. For some reason, my blog broadcasts have been “frozen” over at Aweber for a LONG time. Go figure. And just today they’re being broadcasted again. Technology doesn’t always like to cooperate with me. 🙁

Michelle and I had a blast doing this webinar so if you’d like to catch the replay, Flora, here ya go!

  • Absolutely love the poem, and it hits home. I love your entire blog, very informative!

  • Is it just me who can’t see any new comments… Even the ones I POST? lol

Seriously… the whole ‘rap’ thread is not here for me.

    Both IE *and* Firefox lol.

    Oh well 🙂

    Great post, either way.

  • Great poem Melanie! And so true! I have never seen a poem about writing great content. Great out of the box thinking.

    Cheers
    Drake

    • I’m stoked! Great to see you here, Drake.
Thanks a heap for the kudos and hope you’ll knock on my door again sometime.

If you happen to know anyone who’s looking for some rap lyrics about “Money” …
I’ve got a little ditty in my back pocket. 🙂

  • Great one..must be shared..:P

    • Glad you enjoyed this little ditty, Peter, and thanks for sharing! 🙂

  • Very interesting poem that you’ve posted. Found the views to be quite informative and intriguing. Sometime we need a little change.

    • Love the way your wheels turn, Becca … “change” is a good thing. 🙂

  • Ha! love it Mel…I think we’ve all been there.

Ya never can tell what will fly in this online world. There’s no moss on you…I’ll vouch for that!

    Rock that Webinar!

    • I love you, Jackie!!

And thanks for thinking of me as moss-free. LOL!

Michelle and I will be rockin’ the webinar tomorrow — should be tons of fun. 🙂

  • Gosh I have so many posts that are probably wanting to write poems like this themselves! If there was only a free webinar coming up soon where I could learn how to get them shared like crazy….

    Gwen 🙂

    • Trust me, Gwen …
      You’re NOT alone!

I have my own gigantic collection of posts that I wish would turn themselves into poems. Maybe then at least a few poets would stop by to appreciate them. 😉

LOL! Yeah, IF ONLY there was a free upcoming webinar.

Love you and thanks for the visit!
      Melanie

      • P.S. We still need to get on the phone, Gwen. When you have a minute (ha-ha), drop me a line and give me a couple of days and times you’re available, okay? Thanks!

  • HI Melanie,

I love following your blog posts. You are an amazing writer and have a gift that should be added to your gift bag.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Cindy

    • Hey Cindy — thanks a heap for the compliment!

Poetry is a passion of mine … and so is blogging.
So I thought I’d try my hand at combining the two. 😉

      Really appreciate the visit.

  • Love it, shared it, and signed up for the webinar! 🙂

    • That’s fantastic news, Denise!

Many thanks for the “share” and Michelle and I will look forward to having you join us on the 28th. See you then! 🙂

  • Hi Melanie,

I love the poem and commiserate! I spent a lot of time in the last 1 1/2 promoting my blog, and it was going well until I had some health issues and lost about 5 months. I’m back at it now and hopefully will be going fun guns soon.

I’m going to share this and also check out the webinar you are suggesting. Thanks. Sally

    • What a great “come back” story, Sally!

And I love your “going fun guns” mindset!

Sorry to hear health issues kept you away from the blogosphere for some months. But as I always say … Life Strikes!
Good to know you’re back in your blogging groove. 🙂

Thanks a million for sharing this post and Michelle Shaeffer and I will look forward to having you join us for some fun on May 28th. See you there!

  • Love this, Melanie! It’s like Dr. Seuss meets lonely bloggers… LOL What fun!

And I can’t wait until our webinar–very excited to share.

    • Hey Michelle — thanks for popping over.

Ooh … I love the way your mind works:
“Dr. Seuss meets lonely bloggers” Perfect!! You’ve identified my goal. 🙂

See you at the end of the month — don’t start the party without me!

  • You know that this one won’t gather any moss!

You are a poet, Melanie. Love it!

    • Thanks a heap, Daphne — I love writing poetry! 🙂

Really appreciate the visit today and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

  • Love the poem, Mel! Lol! You made my day today 🙂

    • Oh, Delia, you’re a doll!

So happy you enjoyed this poem and I’m glad I added a little sunshine to your day. 🙂

  • Melanie, great stuff – it’s really nice to have a poetic touch.

And I think any blogger’s been there — at least until learning from Jon Morrow, or maybe you and Michelle Shaeffer.

    • Jason! I’m so glad you dropped in.

You’ve probably been thinking I’ve been abducted by aliens. I haven’t been online much for the past several weeks (personal stuff going on) but just know I haven’t forgotten about you or Ryze.

You are one of the rare guys around who appreciates the “poetic touch”.

I certainly remember the days when my blog resembled a ghost town. Those times were pretty darn discouraging. Jon Morrow is certainly helping bloggers MASSIVELY and I know Michelle and I are going to get people pumped up again about creating “shareable” content. 🙂

Take care and I hope to catch ya soon!

      • All good miss 🙂 And yeah, I definitely do. I won a few poetry competitions back in the day, and I’ve written songs 🙂

And so have you it seems.

I think you got some sign ups already!

  • Lovely poem Melanie, this one will be shared! 🙂

    • Very sweet of you, Jennifer — thank you for sharing!

This is the first time I’m publishing poetry on my blog although I’ve been writing poems for years. 🙂

I appreciate the visit and I hope you’ll knock on my door again soon.
