  • Wow! Melanie, what magical words those 7 are. Thank you for reminding us to celebrate all our small victories. I had an opportunity to celebrate recently when a friend of mine shared an amazing co-incidence (I don’t know if I believe in them lol).
My friend Jane is a writer and journalist and she runs a monthly course for women in business, teaching them how to get themselves a profile in the media. She also convinces them that they can do their own PR and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune. She uses me as one of her examples.
Well, this particular day she was standing there showing them my clippings from local and national media and my case study in a business book, when one of the woman said “I’ve seen this woman, I was reading about her just last weekend in the Sunday Times – I recognise her photo!”
Jane said “I could have kissed her – and you!”
It just goes to show that we never know who’s discovering us and where it may lead.
Last year we got a spike in sales and didn’t know why. Also, most of the email addresses were from South Africa. This intrigued us so we emailed one of the customers to ask. We had been profiled in a magazine in South Africa and the journalist had put a link to our site. What a lovely surprise.
We often find articles written about us when we put my name into google. It just shows that all the hard work is really worth it. It’s like magic, this world of ours is such a small and wonderful community and we have a duty to spread our word far and wide.

Keep spreading your magical light where it’s needed Melanie and I’ll keep spreading mine and together we can make magic happen for others.
    Love & best wishes
    Heather x
